Cyclone wins West Midlands ICT Award for Innovation

A Tenbury Wells software company, Cyclone Technology Limited, have beaten off stiff regional competition to be awarded for the most innovative service introduced by an ICT business in the last year at the coveted West Midlands ICT Excellence Awards 2007.


Cyclone Technology are successful developers of an innovative software application designed to provide stability to a company's ICT infrastructure. The entrepreneurial company received the Highly Innovative award in the West Midlands ICT Award for Excellence in Innovation (Service) category.

Judges were impressed by the company's new flagship technology, netPrefect™. Designed to provide enterprises and Managed Service Providers with technological stability, the software will enable hundreds of businesses across the region to overcome high-tech glitches and get on with making profits.

Maria Baxter, Managing Director said:

"We are absolutely delighted to receive validation for the customer feedback and market research we used during the development of netPrefect™. System failure is the Achilles heel of any business. The ICT Excellence Awards were presented at the Annual West Midlands ICT Cluster Conference held at Birmingham?s National Motorcycle Museum on 22 November 2007.
