LAT
Use LAT1 to manage your device, Out-Of-Band, via a terminal server to a serial console.
Connect to your device and execute shell commands on the device, via a network connected terminal server to the serial console port on the device.
Typical device that you would use LAT for are Systems that support serial consoles, such as:
- Bridges
- Routers
- Managed Switches
- Embedded Operating Systems (Telephones, Kiosk systems etc.)
- Serial console ports on mini computers
